The Planing Mill is a new artisan pizzeria in town that does not disappoint! It is so-named for its historic location, as its building is part of the original Visalia Planing Mill established in 1851. The beautiful brick creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, and of course the smell of fresh-baked pizza doesn't hurt, either!
The pizzeria offers an array of creative pies, as well as many other menu items, such as appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, and salads. We recently had the Kitchen Sink pizza, which was generously topped with cheese, meats, and fresh veggies. It was delicious, and the 12-inch was big enough for two to share and then some.
